Installing Plugins

Cheat Sheet

# Windows VST3:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

# MacOS AU:
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

# MacOS VST3:
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3

Windows (VST3)

Windows plugins come in VST3 format.

To install a ReplicatAudio Plugin on Windows, simply unzip the download and move the .vst3 file to:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

MacOS

MacOS plugins come in 2 formats.

Note: It can be a little tricky to see these folders in Finder. If you are having trouble locating them, go to the top menu bar in Finder and select `Go -> Go To Folder` and enter the location exactly as it is listed in these instructions.

To install a ReplicatAudio Plugin on macOs for use in Garage Band or Logic, simply unzip the download and move the .component (AU) file to:

~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

To install a ReplicatAudio Plugin on macOs for use in any other DAW, simply unzip the download and move the .vst3 file to:

~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
